As I was walking to work through Belfast city centre last week, I witnessed something that has stuck with me ever since.
A young busker with his guitar was simply taking the time to show one of the guys playing the accordion on the street, how to play a few different chords. As I walked past them and down the street, I heard the accordion player begin to string the chords together making a rather lovely tune.
This simple act of kindness left me going into work with a smile on my face and a reminder that the small things we do can have a massive impact and influence on the people around us. That busker had to make a choice. To continue playing by himself, making his own money, or to take the time out of his day and probably step out of his comfort zone.
The name of Jesus needs to be spread across every corner of our country and beyond. How we choose to spend our time and live each day is vitally important to the growth of our Lord's kingdom. Souls need saved and we are a generation of great potential . Please use your talents and gifts that He has equipped you with in order to connect with the people around you, and eventually to share with them the hope that is to be found in Jesus Christ. Let's be His hands and feet, let's have compassion.
